I used this in soy for my candle line of scents that remind you of "home". Great hot and cold throw. Definitely a keeper !
Headed for the trashcan

After reading the reviews, I thought this might be perfect. I was looking for a wood smoke scent. I'm not smelling wood smoke, fireplace, campfire, or anything even remotely similar to those, and neither is anybody else who's smelling it. I'm getting reviews that include "something burning in the crock pot" to "boot black". I've tried different strengths in soap, and still not getting any positive reviews of the scent. I'm going to call this one a throw away and keep looking.
Cedar

This one right out of the bottle is very strong. I had to blot it and let it air out a bit before trying to analyze what I was smelling. It mostly smells very strongly of cedar, which is really nice for a fire fragrance. It has a sweet, smoky body to it, but that died off pretty quickly and I was left with cedar and what smelled like a bit of vanilla. I still really like it, but I wish the smokiness would stick better. I'll try anchoring it with kaolin and see if that helps.
Wonderful!

Do you know how your hair and clothes smell after a summer campfire? THIS. If you love that smell, this scent is for you.
Interesting fragrance!

To me this smells like the leftover smoldering coals after a bonfire has been put out. I tried it in CP soap, it rounded out the fragrance a bit and faded some but it did stay pretty true to what it smelled like OOB.
Exactly what you would expect.

Smells just like a bonfire or fireplace.
